We will discuss what you need before getting started, and I design your session for YOU, to include the best modalities to help improve your overall well-being and meet your goals.
I will listen to your feedback before, during and after your session, which is important to me and helps me understand what you like or what you need changed, because it's all about YOU being comfortable and meeting your goals for your session.
Modalities Practiced:
Swedish: Gentle, relaxing, and relieves tension. Great for a first massage, and for people with general, everyday stress who are looking for pure bliss.
Deep Tissue Therapeutic: Heavier pressure, addresses pain. Great for athletes and those with specific injuries or musculoskeletal concerns.
Polarity: Uses several techniques to both influence energy flow, and balance energy throughout the body.
Reflexology: Relieves tension by addressing reflex points on the feet, hands, and head.
Lymphatic Drainage: Gentle, relieves swelling when medical treatment or illness blocks the flow of the lymphatic system, and helps move lymph to areas with working lymph vessels.
Trigger Point Therapy: Heavier pressure, releases painful tension in muscles and fascia, focused on specific areas of the body. Often combined with Swedish or Deep Tissue, and meant to address specific injuries or "trouble" spots.
Stretching: Elongates tense muscles to increase blood flow and flexibility.
Myofascial Release: Relieves pain and "unsticks" the thick connective tissues that support your muscles.
